There must surely be an amusement park in town. Most decent sized US cities have one. He will surely hold your hand as you get up on that amazing roller coaster ride. In fact, experts also feel that a ride on a roller coaster is a great mix of attraction and fear. As the two of you get excited, the hormones start to work and the brain begins to excrete the chemical PEA – you can make this work for you. He will surely reach out to his friends and tell them that you had your first date in an amusement park, and they will surely feel jealous. If not an amusement park, perhaps you could head for some ice skating.
What you should do in a formal date
If you cannot seek some thrill activities and must go on a formal date, then greet him with a gift. Traditionally, men are expected to offer gifts, but nowhere is it mentioned that you cannot do so. You will take him by surprise. Just some little chocolates would work wonderfully well for you. Do not appear too strong by gifting him a single rose – its time has not come yet. Though a little hug is a small thing, but this can also work wonders. A little hug can help the two of you break barriers and reach out.
Pay attention and show interest
Turning off the cell phone is a great gesture, and if you cannot, do not pick up the phone when it rings, unless it is a really important one. He will know that he has your complete attention. You must also show some interest in his works because a man usually is very touchy about what he does. Ask him questions and listen carefully. Ask about his interests and hobbies too. Do not be dumb on your date – most men hate dumb dates.
Why not go on that road trip
This is a great one. Why not leave the city for a day trip? The two of you can enjoy the great outdoors, and it gives you an opportunity to spend the entire day with him. Both of you can surely have a lot of fun and the different setting can work for you.
