That one friend

We all have a friend like my buddy G, he is a sweet and kind and caring man - but he is always told "I think of you just as a friend". I wish I could get him hooked up on a date but I can not for the life of me see why he has the luck of a no ladies man.

You know I don't understand why the guys that are sweet and caring get the shaft, it makes absolutely no sense to me! Maybe he is looking in the wrong places, maybe he should try looking somewhere else. A good place would be for him to join a group doing something he likes to do!

Guys like that feels as if they are not good enough for the person they like. Most of these guys don't have the courage to express what they really feel. They keep their feelings to themselves even though you can tell by their actions that they really care about someone they like.

I have to wonder if it's a confidence issue or just something that he is projecting at a subconscious level. I had that label, too, but once I started to act with more confidence, that label faded away.

This makes me think of the movie Hitch. Hitch gave those guys a boost in their confidence and they got women you would not believe. That goes to show you a little confidence and an edge can put you far ahead of the competition.

I would have to agree with the confidence factor. Women like sweet and caring, but they also like confident, firm, and strong. Personally, I like men who go after what they want and who stand up for what they believe in...and those things take confidence.
