How do you approach someone?

I have not ever had issues with meeting men, rather I have issues with finding men who are not jerks. I saw a guy at the shopping center last week who was very kind it seemed. I wanted to approach him but I'm too shy. How do you approach someone you do not know?

I think you can tell a lot by making eye contact. That should be very informative to help you determine if there is a mutual interest. And I couldn't agree more about meeting jerks. Most of the time I'm out I feel like such a jerk magnet!

I'm just kidding. I am also a shy-type guy. Whenever I looked at someone that attracted me, I would surely take off my eyes away from her when she starts looking at me. Maybe that is the reason why I never had many girlfriends in my life. I only dated 2 and the second one right now is my girlfriend for 6 years already.

I always feel so embarrassed if I make eye contact with a guy. Do most people feel like that or is that just one of my shyness issues that I need to get over?
