    Default Chemistry Or Something More?

Has anyone ever had or felt an instant connection to someone? Do you think it is chemistry or something more? I feel it is just a chemistry and you really have to get to know someone more, what do you think?

I think you're right and you do have to get to know someone, but I also believe it all begins with chemistry. If you aren't attracted to a person from the get go you likely will never truly be attracted to him or her. Some people can become attractive over time if their personalities are strong enough, but I've found that it never becomes the deep down type of attraction that I want to have with the right person.

Sure, it's fate. But then what is it when it falls apart and there is no spark anymore? I wouldn't classify that as fate. I think it's just attraction or chemistry most times. You see something you like, and you go for it.

There are great 'ships I have had with connections in life from friendships to relationships and they all tie into what I needed at that time in my life. Its funny how things work out sometimes.

I know exactly what you mean about this. I often find that my connections in relationships speak exactly to what I need to grow for my next step at the time. It's crazy. :D

I've met some guys that I had that immediate chemistry with. For some reason though, those situations never seemed to be the best matches for me. Our relationships were always a bit insane and kinda dicey.

I totally agree with Sarah, most of my relationships that started out this way fizzled on out pretty quickly. I think for women what seems like chemistry to men is just sexual energy and lust, lol. Besides, I like the slow build of a balanced relationship anyway, slow and steady wins the race.
