How do you know?

I was at the store today, and I'm fairly certain that the guy was hitting on me. He fixed something for me without charging for it and he gave me his business card/asked if I had one. He's super friendly in general though-- how do I know?

I would say to go with your instincts. And if you think you might want to get to know him then you either need to ask him out or indicate to him that you would say yes if he asked you.

That`s a tough one. It sounds like he was hitting on you. But he may have also just been trying to be nice. If this is a store you go to often I would go back and make a point of having a conversation with him. Also did you like him?

If you notice that he only does that to you, I have no doubts he is hitting on you. Just like what the others have said, if you like that guy, try to make a conversation and you will know his motives why he was so kind to you.

I would have to hear how he was speaking to you, but yes it does sound like it. Did he make you blush, did you make him blush? There is nothing wrong with friendly flirt talks, but you will know it when you hear it. :)

I'd go back to the store just to see if the pattern of behavior continues. If he doesn't behave that way toward other people, then you know he's hitting on you.
