Craigslist

Has anyone ever met with anybody nice off of Craigslist? I did once, and it was not a good experience. I'm curious about whether or not there are any good/valid places to meet someone out there.

I am sorry, but being honest, after what happened with the Craigslist killer I highly doubt I will be using Craigslist as a medium to meet people. I know, I know, not all people using Craigslist are bad, but I believe in learning from other people's experiences as well.

I think that it's unwise to use Craigslist. I definitely wouldn't go onto it. I agree with you, DatingDiva, that it's really important to learn from other people's experiences.

I agree with DatingDiva after hearing so much negative press including the murder I wouldn't look here. There has got to be better ways that are safer. I would imagine anybody could go on dating sites, etc but that definitely made me not want to look there.

I would say, Craigslist is not a dating place. I believe it is kind of a hook up place. No wonder sheriff from Chicago sued Craigslist.

I used AOL dating one time. I met a few nice guys but none worth dating. Most just wanted sex or were too old for me. I also used the personal ads in the paper. I really fell for that guy. I married him. Big Mistake!! I should have waited because it turned out he was an ex crack addict who always went back to crack about every 3 months. I`d rather meet men through friends or church.
