    Default Dressing Up

I've seen this in movies where they dress up very formally, mostly at night time. How do you dress up when you have dates?

I usually date at day time so its just casual dressing. I only wore a tux once when I had my date in a prom night.

It really depends on where you are going. I have been on dates where we both dressed up and then some dates were very casual. I don`t mind dressing up but I am not really the girly girl type. lol. I am more comfortable wearing casual clothes.

I am not the type of person you will really ever catch out doing much in fancy settings. I like to wear just jeans and nice shirts with jewelry as a nice finishing touch. You don't need all that expensive fancy stuff to have a good time.

It depends on where you are going definitely! I always ask where we are going so I know how to dress, if it is a nice restaurant I will get dressed up in a nice dress with a little clutch and accessories, if it is the movies I wear jeans and a nice shirt.

It depends on where you are going like everyone else her has said, but I think it's good to save those "fancy" dates until you know someone better. I want to know that someone can let lose and be themselves from the beginning.

For me it depends on what we are doing. I always dress the part. If we are going out ice skating then I dress in jeans and a sweater with a warm coat and mittens. If we are going to the opera or something like that, then I dress in very nice dress clothes.

I like to know from early on that a guy is capable of going with the flow. I like men to have both casual and formal sides. My ideal situation would be a casual date one night and then a few days later a more dressed up date.

Dressing up is fun, but usually not appropriate for what's going on. I think I prefer more casual stuff in the beginning, but keeping the formal stuff in there a bit as you get to know each other more.

You can dress up or you can dress down as it always depends on the type of date you are going on. I doubt I would be wearing a dress on a hiking type date, but I don't think I would be in jeans for a dinner and dancing one either.

For me, it really depends on the occasion. If we're going to an informal lunch, then a pair of jeans and a nice shirt will do the trick for me. If it's a dinner date, it depends on where we are going. But dressing up for a movie seems over the top.
