Dating someone your friends/family may not like

I am sure many of us have had this happen before, for some reason those close to us and those working to be close to do mix like water and oil. How are others handling it?

Friends and family are there to advice and help you in getting the best in life. Choosing the right person for you might not be their obligation but they are there to guide you. And that is why sometimes they don't like the person because they see something that might hurt you in the future. In the end, its always your decision and not theirs if you want to continue with that guy or follow their guidance, or should I say objections.

Well I have to say there were a few times I should have listened to my mom or my best friend. Some times they can see things we don`t. When you young you don`t like to hear it , but as you get older you realize they were right.

There are times when friends and family will see qualities in the person you're dating that you may be blind to because of love. I'd consider their advice but ultimately, it's your happiness that matters most.
