Dating Desire Vs. Dad Restriction

I know that sounds little odd.. but yes that is my dating dilemma. I am 14.5 years old... I have a great desire to start dating but the problem is my dad is asking me not to get involve in dating until I finish 16.

I guess most of all dads are like that. They don't want their daughters to get into love and dating at early age. That shows my dad is trying to protect me and loves me a lot. I love him as well...

But, my friends are all picking on me. They got boyfriend and girlfriend thing going on and I don't have any. I am still virgin. Can someone help me understanding the dating dilemma? Should I ignore my dad and start dating or respect him and wait until I finish 16.

I am frustrated but at the same time I do not want to hurt my dad..

How's it going? I hope things are going well at your end. Oh well I would say there is nothing wrong to date. But I see your dad's concern as well. Do not get involved in sex related activities. You can try to convince your dad that you are a responsible person.
