Question How long does it take to hear I Love You?

Oh well, I have been seeing someone for long time. He cares about me a lot.. My boyfriend would always be there if I need him. We are having good time, we do lot of activities together. It's kind of committed relationship. But one thing always bothers me, I haven't heard "I Love You" from him. Is he scared of marriage or something? Or He is just not into me.

I know these three words might freak him out... Not sure if he just want to keep our relation like friends. How long should I wait to hear these three words from him?

I would say love is something which can't be achieved by force. It has to happen over the time..as long as you guys are comfortable with each other it will happen. Just wait for the moment..stop thinking about it...and instead of being available all the time, take a break and let your boy miss you... once he does that means..thats it.. you are doing fine. Trust me you will hear those three words soon...

I agree little with Outwals but not completely... oh well, just keep doing what you are doing right now. But you must set the time limit, just make sure you don't show yourself too needy. Give it a break for sometime and see if he is interested. Once he is, slowly bring the matter in conversation. do not make it too obvious, guys have tendency to freak our with marriage word.

Try to use surrounding to get an idea about his thoughts. When you are out with him in public, talk about some other couples with kids. Know what are his thoughts about family and married couples. If he is showing hard "NO NO" while talking about family and marriage.. then I would say just let him go if you are looking for a serious relationship towards successful marriage.
