A key piece of dating advice from me would be turn your cell phone off when you are on a date. Nothing annoys me more than a ringing phone when I'm trying to talk to someone. Even worse, if a guy ANSWERS his phone and starts talking to one of his buddies. If it's an emergency, I completely understand. But don't allow your phone to ring off the hook with just random calls.

I agree with you, I would put the phone on vibrate at least so if it was an emergency you could still get the call. It would annoy me so much if I was out with someone that picked up the phone and just started chatting with one of his buddies.

I would not turn it off, but I would put it on vibrate and then check it if needed later. You never know when you will have an emergency and someone needs to reach you. I would be mad if a guy answered his and just chatted though!
